Second session is in full swing. Good group. Wonderful group. Creative group. Fun group. The Dr. Seuss hats have come out. All ages are here and we're having a ball. I have to say the spirit of the first two weeks has spilled over into the second two weeks. I love it!.jpg)
Anyone who was in the first session can feel
happy and satisfied to know that they helped build the foundation for camp this summer. What fun got started with you all has doubled itself. Silliness continues in everything we do. We've just added new faces to share our Sprucelands Seussical Spirit.
There are additional adult staff this session. Hank is here to pitch in with Nancy. Margy and Lisa are helping Sue. Hill Parents have opened Horton's Hut, expanding the art program. So now there are projects happening there as well as in the Nart Room. They've been making Wockets this week so they could be a Wocket Scientist or Wocketeer and have a wocket in their pocket!!!
Hugs and miracles are happening everywhere, sometimes when you least expect it. Those hugs help us feel part of the summer camp family. There isn't time to feel homesick in WhoVille. Too much is going on here.

Campers help each other, listen about goals and successes for the day, give thank yous and applaud those miraculous moments when something wonderfully magical surprises us and we all smile. Oh the places you go! Oh the things that you see in a Dr. Seuss Sprucelands summer!
